Abduction [Pre-Arc]

Amidst the clash of curse vs shikigami, powerful screams and blades of wind raged. This clash of energy causes reverberance and friction amidst the entire area. Hayate carries onward, dashing for the enemy's rear, his target the back of its legs. The timing was near perfect, a well-crafted assault gathered by an experience summoner with a clear handle on his abilities. He had the energy to spare and the control to manage these autonomous entities. Yet no situation always went exactly as planned. Haji took that assumption serious, but even he didn't expect what would happen next.

As he rounds the corner, a new presence strikes his spatial awareness. He does not need his right ear, for he can sense the very nature of cursed energy around him, instinctual movement propels him. His legs bend and bounce allowing him to cartwheel clockwise. He maintains a strong center of gravity and tucks his legs to make his body vault faster. This act allowed him to be a smaller target as well. From floor to air, the scythe cleaves with power behind it and in response, Haji's mop swings from right to left downard in its own arc. It timed perfectly, 3/4'ths of the way through the scythes swing so that the mop strikes at the side of the scythe's blade, knocking the attack clean off course. With his left hand, he throws the talisman at this clown, cutting the space between them in half a second. As his feet return to the ground, four new sources of cursed energy are detected. Bright flames in the form of orbs surge in his direction. In response, the boy rotates his weapon. Cursed power flourishes through each bristle, causing them to fan out like an umbrella. He braces each blow one after the other as the flames collide and are disbursed by the very nature of cursed energy. Each one sends him backward four feet at a time. Gaining a distance of 16 feet. Or 4.8 Meters.
And then...
"HEEEEELP, SOME-"

What was this? Did someone find their way down here? he had made sure to check and had not seen anyone new. Like a domino, things were getting worse and worse. Yet in an instant, Haji came to two conclusions based upon the things the two new cursed had said and this newcomer.
One was that that curse in the back of the room was new, and it HAD to go.
The second was that human life was always worth saving, even at difficult times. Only in situations where there was absolutely no choice did one have to stay on task. But Haji was no Gojo. And he wasn't Uncle Majin either.
But I'm no bitch either. So be it.
Now juggling the presence of two new curses, The odds now somewhat outside his favor, his breathing calmed. His mind found a new equilibrium. He knew he could not let a. human die on his watch. But what if it was a trap? He could handle that, but if he ran the curses would just chase him. Ive been trying to preserve some cursed energy for a longer investigation but these new guys have changed things.
The new curses would sense a rapid spike in cursed energy exploding from behind the veil of Haji's umbrella-shaped mop. This would have two purposes.

Back at Ninpo's position, the Shikigami would be carried some distance upward further in the air, yet coinciding with the new change in cursed energy, this shikigami would dissipate right away. That left Hayate.
At his left, a tail of sorts sweeps down to latch onto him. To compensate, it adds torque to its legs, causing a counterclockwise rotation. Hayate's left arm motions a few inches from the tail's tip swiping like a small blade in order to sever this random appendage. Its left arm, amidst this rotation, is allowed to cleave clean across the back right knee of this new enemy. Having to change things up, it would not get both legs as it had wanted, but hopefully its alteration would work. Even if it had to sacrifice one arm, It would make sure to strike at something no matter what conditions. Thanks to Hayate maintaining its position, it opened the window for the calvary to come through at a favorable position. And since its name was uttered out loud, the speed of its summoning was instantaneous.
"SEEEEI!!!!
IKKAKKU!!!!!"

A simultaneous assault forms itself from the curses left side, a large leg manifests just 3 feet away, with a flicker of motion. Allowing this kick to blow through would cause sudden devastation to the cranium just as the slash utilized by Hayate would imbalance the curse just enough to aid in their success. What had manifested was likely Haji's greatest creation. Its name, Sei Ikkaku meant 'Quiet Corner' and relates to one of its innate abilities. All that it enacts, is done so with accuracy and pure silence. As a humanoid supernatural Shikigami, it was as skilled as they come. The kick would strike with enough power to send this new entity crashing through the railing, destroying much of the platform they were standing on in the process, colliding violently into the factory floor below. All without a sound. It seemed these properties extended to things externally as well, so long as they were a part of the attack itself.
Hopefully, this new disturbance would cause a lapse of judgment. The bristles on the back of his mop began to shine a rich blue hue, surging with another influx of power. Haji was sure to keep it pointed at his adversaries, for after a second it would take off like a rocket, propelling a violent plume of cursed energy in the clown's position.
This would allow him to rocket toward the exit, soaring in a long loop as he balanced himself. Rather than stand on it, he held his arm and wrapped one leg around the length of the handle. Off he goes through the doorway. As he reaches a bend, he alters his trajectory and "drifts" around the corner. His propulsion causing a stray paper to float just near his face in the process. Just enough for him to glance at its cover. Its blood covering and keywords was enough for him to snag it in transit. As he nears the victim, he uses his hand to prop himself up off the ground. His feet touch the floor again as he slides forward, he thrusts his mop forwards causing the strands to extend outward and latching all around the boy. those free would attack the various vines and branches around his body severing and pulling them away. The talismans began to exorcise these vines right away.


"Your timing SUCKS you know that?!!?" he spurts with angst. He had made it just in time. As just like that he began reeling the victim in like a fish. He would process this moment and scan for any enemies here in the area.  I'm going to burn through a bit more energy now. I have to act fast. Act hard. That's what uncle would say.

Back in the West wing, had his strike gone as planned Sei & Hayate would stand above, Hayate now standing on his shoulder. The Shikigami reaches backward and grabs both Kali sticks off its back, lowering them to around waist level. The target was locked now. Sei Bent its knees and gathered cursed energy. It crossed the Kali Sticks into an X and focused them. Hayate on his right shoulder latched onto his collar with one hand and raised its hand with the other as if preparing itself as well. Both in unison would act on the will of their master.  What happens next would occur in just a blink. With three targets to choose from just how likely was Hajime to discriminate? That answer was one that only time itself could tell.
There ain't no way I'm letting all of you get away....

Haji had made it, his mop had made quick work of the slow-moving vines as they attempted to murder this witness. He didn't bother letting the boy stand up. Or walk on his own. He was out cold. Instead, he wrapped him like a mummy with little concern for his dignity. He did not wait to start his mad dash for the exit. This way I'll be able to carry hi-
These thoughts were rapidly interrupted by the resurgence of various extra vines. He had hardly enough time to assess anything happening one after the other. His arms were becoming heavy due to having to weather the combined annoyance of both fireballs and a violent slash produced by the clown. It had thrown off his course and made him strike his knee in transit. These were technical bumps and bruises but enough to make one think twice about performance. He frowned, as half the vines approached with speed, shooting out various seedlings like buckshot. His dread only grew as the further he got, the more they followed. Clearly their only function.
Damn this body is heavy. And those things aren't stopping. Damn this shit!
He snags a talisman and throws it out into the air behind him. Forming a sign, a barrier of cursed energy spawns in but a moment, filling the hallway behind him. The seedlings colliding with them at first then began feeding on the cursed energy present within the seal. And yet, Haji did not stop to ride his success, he needed to get far enough away to save the victim. And that's when he made up his mind. Though burning through energy already he would have to go even further. He could do it if he kept things short in the other room...

Hayate had attempted to sever the appendage of the enemy curse, but knowing its own strength it didn't intend to win only to withstand. It had bought itself a little extra distance before feeling a snag as the wriggly appendage had caught it. It had done more than enough in allowing Sei to gain a favorable position, his large leg colliding into the curses cranium. A large indentation is dug into its face, something no human could survive, let alone *most* curses. A blow like this was usually demoralizing. Its body cascades, wrangling about until it met the solid floor below, erupting dust in all directions. In order to stop from being carried along, Hayate warped onto Ikkaku's Shoulders as intended, avoiding the violent fate that befell this... "Kaiku" as the monkey would call it. Sei had little time to react, as within an instant a massive inferno encompassed their entire view. Heat bellowed and in that same moment, their image became lost in the blaze, a massive explosion set off at first acting with the characteristics of any other explosion. The force shook the room and rattled the now torched walkway sending metal scraps and wooden char in all directions.


And then,
from behind a tiny black box spawns, then expand in an instant. Its appearance was utterly silent and the explosions noise-masking their emergence. In his hand were Kali sticks, being collided together just as his entire body escaped. Moving at the supernatural speed it was presumed that this clown curse would have only enough time to turn around to respond. a trail of smoke was left in their wake, as if they had been grazed by the intense flames as they made an escape. What followed was an omnidirectional wall of thunder, not to be confused with lightning which reigned in a 5-meter radius. The floor was torn apart, the simple walls around collapsed and many of the charred bodies strewn about. It was a powerful technique given the circumstances and would cause both internal and external damage to the clown. The impact would launch its body toward the adjacent wall in an uncontrolled flight path with a splat. Just as quick as that initial portal opened a second opened just beneath their feet, Hayate was working overtime due to the state of their master. Sei would follow up this by jumping upward and crashing its legs downward with all its might, passing through this new portal and opening up just above Mokkou. How likely was it to see this portal opening up? To sense it? Had it noticed the thunderous blast amidst the dominion of his own flames? Had the clown somehow avoided injury? Whichever the case was, allowing this stomp to go through uninhibited would send the flaming monkey down into the floor, both feet colliding with its chest in what could only be described as a savage manner. This curse had been doing what it wanted far too much and needed something to deal with. With so much being done one after the other, Haji was beginning to burn through his cursed reserves. He couldn't stay here much longer.

Left leg, then right. Haji sprinted with all his might, seedlings and new vines sprouting as he continues onward. He lifted the phone to his ear anxiously.
"U-uncle? Kinda busy!"
"Of course you are you're on a mission. I got your call for a manager. That means you found the place then right?"
Without wasting any more time, Haji is quick to summon a third shikigami, this time, a large griffon. Tsume was its name. He throws the lip body on its back and the bird breaks its way through the window directly at his side and soars outside away from danger.  This allows Haji to run just that much freer.
"Of course I did and I'm under attack uncle. Listen. There are three curses of questionable grades here. And two are capable of speech. I'm currently in retreat with at least one survivor.  Wherever they came from I have no clue-"
From his right, a massive vine crashes out of the ground and pierces his left thigh. He winces in pain. Only stopping for a moment. . He charges energy in his left hand and severs this vine before it can launch any seedlings and turns to face the incoming seeds that had long since broken through the barrier he had erected moments prior. Warmblood made its way out of his leg in a swift manner and the sensation sent a tingling up his spine. He didn't favor blood at all, let alone his own. Using his mop, he fans the space in front of him and knocks the seedlings off course. slamming them into the wall under the force of his own cursed might. Even if they could absorb cursed energy, they could not destroy the Ashura Arau.
Sweat trickles down his forehead and he picks his phone back up off the ground.
"...Broken...Great."
He sighs to himself. And limp sprints back outside into fresh air. He has not yet released his shikigami. But at least now he could focus just a bit more on the battle at hand. Tsume would move a dozen or so meters away and land on a rooftop of a different building with the victim on its back. It would then disappear just as swiftly as it had appeared. Hopefully, his uncle could make something of that.  He could only hope the vines would not follow him outside. He had about enough energy for one more good exchange. If he could not destroy the curse by then he would retreat fully.
At least, that was his plan. Now battered bruised and bleeding he could only stay vigilant. His movements would be more sluggish now and if he waited too long he would lose consciousness. Could this day get any worse?

Hajime Ryu barely escaped the old factory with his life intact after having a dangerous battle with a group of powerful cursed spirits, two of which he was able to identify by name; the first being Mokkou, and the second being Kaiten. It wasn't until Majin Ryu arrived in to save his nephew with just his presence and scowl alone. It forced each of the curses to retreat under Mokkou's orders. Majin was more than they could handle, and the fact Hajime arrived alerted them that the Tokyo Technical College had eyes on how they were moving. During Hajime's minacious mission to investigate the Old Factory yesterday late afternoon, he discovered vague names such as 'Nakaiten' and the mysterious alias, ' The Man in White'. The young shaman only made it through the entrance and center wing before being stopped at the western wing, but that did not mean he wouldn't be returning back to HQ without heavy evidence and other claims to support his findings. With the sun rising, he would be making it back to the Ryu Clan to write up a report, and as for the boy Hajime found, he was sent to the school's infirmary where he currently rested. As Hajime and Majin left the scene, there was a humanoid silhouette with ice-blue hair standing atop one of the factory's tall metal structures watching everything that just occurred.
