Getting your RPC'S Situated
Beginner's Guide Protot11
It is the most important thing in the entire forum's rp; without a character, you have no foundation. Getting your foundation down will lead you to a fruitful adventure of experience and knowledge. Part one of this guide will also provide navigation to OOC tools used for storage and links, as well as some guidance around the site.

1 Character Creation - Before someone makes their character they need to read all the necessary rules which include Ability, World, and Character information, and this beginner's guide. Failing to read could get you declined more likely than others who have read.

2 Character Understanding - Upon beginning the role-play the majority of you will be students, and then there will be a minority of adult faculty helping the students out. Before we begin I'd like to address unique Cursed Corpses like Pandaa. If you want to be like it, you can create two extra cores for yourself that exhibit stronger tiers that go up to enhanced and supernatural AS LONG as it makes sense.

First Years
If you're a first-year you shouldn't be starting the role-play as someone crazy amazing or perfect; this includes fighting skills, knowledge, emotional issues, and other needed character development to work with. This character development should also exist for all characters no matter what their ranking is in this roleplay. (Characters who have families in the Jujutsu world are exempt from this)

• Ages: 14, 15, 16

• Experience: The experience required for this level of entry doesn't have to be high or low in terms of your actual role-play skills since it's your first year.

• Grade: Your grade is determined based on the entry exams for school that are knowledge, story, and combat base. The grading requirements we're looking for will be given at the end of this section of the guide.
Beginner's Guide Protot11
Beginner's Guide Second10

Second Years
If you're going to be a second-year then your knowledge of Jujutsu Kaisen needs to be pretty extensive and not average. As for your RP & combat skill, it doesn't need to be extremely high, but it doesn't need to be low either. You need to be a SOMEWHAT mature character to help out the first years IC and OOC.

• Ages: 15, 16, 17

• Experience: The experience required for this level of entry doesn't have to be high or low, but you are required to have somewhat of a high capability for combat as well as writing if you choose to start the role-play around this level.

• Grade: Your beginning grade is determined based on an exam that is knowledge, story, and combat-based. The grading requirements we're looking for will be given at the end of this section of the guide.
Beginner's Guide Protot11
Beginner's Guide Thirdy10

Third Years
Third-years need to know how to fight and guide other roleplayers, IC, and OOC. You don't have to be the best fighter, but you should be resourceful and know a good deal about Jujutsu Kaisen. Not only that, but you should have deep knowledge of character progression, writing, and more to not only sell your story, but the stories of others and the plot included.

• Ages: 17, 18

• Experience: The experience required for this level of entry doesn't have to be medium or high. Your knowledge of JJK should be as mentioned, pretty high.

• Grade: Your beginning grade is determined based on an exam that is knowledge, story, and combat-based. The grading requirements we're looking for will be given at the end of this section of the guide.
Beginner's Guide Protot11
Beginner's Guide Facult10
Faculty, Professionals & Clans
As a member of the faculty (or someone living as a professional) you are required to be good at combat with a depth of knowledge on JJK in order to teach to your students. If you aren't good at writing or grammar then this role is not for you. Someone with these titles does not have a specific age range, but for faculty and pros, it's important that you're around ages 20+.

• Ages: Must be 20 or older.

• Experience: Experience level is very high with expert JJK knowledge. Must be knowledgeable about the advanced mechanics of T1-RP.

• Grade: People around these levels are Grade 2, Grade 1, Special Grade 1, or Special Grade.
Beginner's Guide Protot11
Beginner's Guide Curses10
Cursed  Spirits
Cursed Spirits will follow the same guidelines as the shamans, so the higher the grade, the higher the requirements.

• Ages: ????

• Experience: Experience is based on the grade you go for, so you MIGHT be tested to determine your standing due to how your character's bio is written.

• Grade:
Beginner's Guide Protot11
Grade 4
-Ability to write at 300 words or more.
-Able to type without much error (Typos and Grammar.)
-Basic knowledge of T1 RP
-Basic Story Skills
-Decent Knowledge of Jujutsu Kaisen

Grade 3
-Ability to write at 300 words or more.
-Able to type without much error (Typos and Grammar.)
-Intermediate knowledge of T1 RP
-Moderate Story Skills
-Basic Combat Ability
-Moderate Knowledge of Jujutsu Kaisen

Grade 2
-Advanced writing ability
-Advanced knowledge of T1 RP
-Advanced Story Skills
-Moderate Combat Ability
-Advanced Knowledge of Jujutsu Kaisen

Grade 1, Special Grade 1 & Special Grade
-People who want these grades have to be creative when it comes to applying their abilities.
-A wealth of knowledge is needed for T1 in general, writing included.
Beginner's Guide Protot11
3 History/Background - Establish a well-thought-out background before you make your bio. If your history does not meet our standards then it will be taken in for questioning. No one should be related to any canon characters either (Unless it's clan names like Kamo or Zenin). Vague sentences or descriptions will be questioned as well, so do your best. Your background must reflect your present builds before you begin role-playing.
Beginner's Guide Protot11
4 Privileges - This is an existing rule finally being placed in stone. We only give special roles, techniques, ranks, and positions to specific role-players with SOME experience. We are looking for people who are mature, know the role-play rules, and mechanics like it's second nature. People who write well, people who know how to actually fight, and who are ACTIVE are the people we want. A lot of our decisions aren't based on personal relationships if we're familiar with you. Because our community is so tight, a lot of decisions are based on past actions and what you currently display. And do not think that experience is always our determining factor for anything because it isn't. You're always free to make your suggestions, but understand that we won't be working our systems around your wants if we decline your ideas.

Beginner's Guide Empty Combat

Fri Jul 23, 2021 1:30 am
Becoming Battle Ready
There are many ways people can battle in JJK, our fighting system compliments both inexperienced, and experienced fighters to basic and technical fighting styles.

1 Getting everything ready - After having your biography completed it is wise and required of everyone participating in the role-play to edit their signatures by adding a set of links that directs staff and others affiliates to their Character Logs, Biography, and Storage. How you go about organizing it is on you.

2 Disagreements - It is no amazing discovery that many people don't see eye to eye in combat sometimes. This is caused by a lack of knowledge, misunderstanding, or just plain salt. If there are issues, please post them in a spoiler, DM your opponent, or take it to the dispute area that can be found in the community center as a sub-forum (or discord also has one of these). If you cannot come to an agreement then it is highly recommended to notify a mod through PM.

3 Metagaming - Unless you have a reason to kill someone in this role-play you shouldn't go around killing people just because. Curses should follow this rule to some degree as well, but since their nature is different this ruling over them isn't as serious. If I find out that you're trying to kill someone for no absolute reason you will have fame deducted, loss of rank, and more. This rule does not mean you are safe from the element of death because you can be killed without permission, and given certain personalities like serial killers, there's nothing we can do besides arrest or kill them.

4 Battle - When you're engaged in certain battles, death is an actual thing, especially in major events that progress the plot. Whenever you're facing off against another cursed spirit operating as an NPC or being operated by a role player then you need to be aware that you can still die with a higher probability. If you happen to die then that is it, you don't get a second shot with you're RPC unless there is some miracle that can be performed or plot calls for saving your life.

5 Spam - It isn't mandatory, but don't be a spammer with your abilities. I'm sure everyone here has played a fighting game and came across one plenty of times. Try different variations of your innate skills rather than relying on one application of it.

Beginner's Guide Empty Topic Icons

Fri Jul 23, 2021 1:52 am
There is a list of labels, also known as topic icons that you need to be highly aware of and what they mean. Under no circumstances are you to use the labels for something unrelated to a role-play setting, and to add, no one is ever authorized to use the event. label

1 [Open] Anyone can join this thread. The nature of these threads can turn into anything.

2 [Private] Permission is needed from the host to join this thread. The nature of these threads are similar to open topics.

3 [Training]  A thread dedicated to training. The nature of training is focused on honing a skill, or instructing another on techniques until it's done right. It is naturally unclear whether the topic is open or not, so if you would like to participate, message the host.

4 [Spar] Sparring is a collaboration between two or more parties focused on helping each other improve by pointing out what they are doing wrong and what they are doing right. Sparing is perhaps the most honest of ways to improve because it challenges ego, knowledge, and more. Ask for permission to join this topic if you weren't invited.

5 [Battle] A battle thread is the thread where both parties aren't focused on killing each other. They only want to test their skills and only that.

6 [Event] Extremely Unique threads are used to progress the plot of the story.

7 [Mission] A mission thread is as it suggests. Anyone can intercept these types of missions as an ally or as an enemy.

8 [Information] This label icon is reserved for mods only, and other mods have to get permission from admins to use it. Regular members are not to use this icon under any circumstances.

Other Stuff

No God Modding. This goes towards those that take a hit and get up from it as if nothing happened. Acknowledge your damage/pain and continue the fight if it doesn't kill you. This also applies to characters with high endurance and durability as well. You might not feel it much, but there is nothing worse than a role-player acting like they didn't get hit. Add some depth to the fight for god's sake, you all aren't robots.

• If you ignore an attack or you're unaware of it and have been hit by it, there is no way you can mitigate the damage. The only thing that can save you is a prep or your physiology.

• Clan members do not usually share their prized abilities, it is usually one person every new generation that does. Some clans even have two prized abilities like the Zenin.

• This role-play was made for MY enjoyment. Anything you've read thus far that doesn't fit your standards simply means it was not designed for you, things such as purple prose.

• Don't ask me why your 'friends' weren't invited or accepted. A, I either don't feel like dealing with them, as in putting up with an attitude if I don't trust them, or B, they did not pass my screening where I was able to determine things from their personality. If you feel strongly against this and want to argue or be passive-aggressive, then there's the door.

• Do not think you're about to get over me or on my system. Don't think you're going to start another character because you didn't get what you wanted by trashing the original character because it will only transfer. You can get multiple rolls if you plan to RP with two OC's but they both need to be maintained. This means one should not be favored over the other because of tiers and other boosts.
